Terrier Australia adalah salah satu ras anjing berukuran kecil dari Australia yang ditemukan sejak abad ke-19.[1] Anjing ini sering digunakan untuk menjaga rumah dan ternak di padang rumput dari ancaman hewan liar serta ular karena anjing ini tergolong pemburu.[1] Ras anjing ini dapat memiliki tinggi sekitar 25.4 cm dan bobot 5,4-6,3 kg.[2] Beberapa ciri fisik dari Terrier Australia adalah kaki pendek dan kecil, ekor tergantung tinggi (ke atas), telinga tegak ke atas dan runcing, serta mata oval dan berukuran kecil.[2] Bulu anjing ini dapat berwarna biru-coklat, coklat pucat seperti pasir pada seluruh tubuh, atau merah.[2] Dalam sekali persalinan, Terrier Australia dapat melahirkan 3-4 ekor anakan.[2]
