Thapsia gummifera (sin. Margotia gummifera) adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili Apiaceae, berasal dari Mediterania barat; Portugal, Spanyol, Maroko, Aljazair, dan Tunisia.[1] Tumbuhan ini diusulkan sebagai kandidat tumbuhan yang dikenal pada zaman dahulu sebagai silphium yang punah di Libya pada abad ke-5.[2]
