Laba-Laba Hitam adalah sebuah novella karangan Jeremias Gotthelf yang ditulis pada tahun 1842. Berlatar cerita bingka yang indah, legenda lama ditulis kembali dalam bentuk humanisme Kristen dengan alegori tentang gagasan baik dan buruk. Meskipun awalnya terbagi, awalnya merupakan cerita internal kemudian menyebar ke dalam cerita bingkai juga. Ceritanya dicirikan oleh struktur naratifnya yang kompleks, motif dan simbolisme Kristiani yang konservatif, serta deskripsi yang tepat tentang dinamika sosial desa.[1]
