The Crayon


The Crayon adalah majalah seni asal Amerika Serikat yang terbit antara 1855 hingga 1861, dengan edisi terakhir pada Vol. 8, No. 7. Majalah ini diterbitkan di New York oleh W. J. Stillman dan J. Durand. Konten majalah meliputi seni Amerika dan internasional, gosip seni, pameran, sastra, arsitektur, hingga taman lanskap.

The Crayon secara umum dipengaruhi oleh estetika dan pendekatan pemikiran John Ruskin, yang menekankan pada "Keindahan Tertinggi" serta preferensi terhadap kebenaran dan ketulusan.
