The Demolished Man adalah sebuah novel fiksi ilmiah karya penulis Amerika Alfred Bester, yang menjadi pemenang Penghargaan Hugo pertama pada tahun 1953. Novel tersebut pertama kali diserialisasikan dalam tiga bagian, dimulai dengan keluaran Januari 1952 dari Galaxy Science Fiction,[1] disusul oleh penerbitan novel tersebut pada 1953. Novel tersebut didedikasikan kepada penyunting Galaxy, H. L. Gold, yang memberikan saran pada saat penulisannya. Judul Bester adalah Demolition!, tetapi Gold berkata kepadanya untuk mengganti judulnya.
