The Drifters adalah sebuah kelompok vokal doo-wop dan R&B/soul Amerika jangka panjang. Mereka aslinya dibentuk untuk dijadikan sebagai grup bekingan untuk Clyde McPhatter (dari Billy Ward and his Dominoes) pada 1953.
Menurut majalah Rolling Stone, The Drifters merupakan kelompok vokal besar yang kurang stabil, karena mereka adalah musisi berbayaran rendah[2] yang dipegang oleh George Treadwell, yang memegang nama The Drifters. Terdapat 60 vokalis dalam sejarah The Drifters milik Treadwell,[3] yang meliputi beberapa grup pecahan dari para mantan anggota The Drifters (tidak berada di bawah manajemen Treadwell).
