The Guardsman adalah sebuah film tahun 1931 yang berdasarkan pada permainan panggung Testőr karya Ferenc Molnár. Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Alfred Lunt, Lynn Fontanne, Roland Young dan ZaSu Pitts. Film tersebut diadaptasi oleh Ernest Vajda (permainan latar) dan Claudine West (kelanjutan) dan disutradarai oleh Sidney Franklin.[1]
Lunt dan Fontanne merupakan sepasang suami istri dan tim akting panggung terselebrasi. Film tersebut berdasarkan pada peran-peran yang mereka mainkan dalam Broadway pada 1924 dan ini merupakan satu-satunya peran film bersama mereka. Mereka masing-masing dinominasikan untuk Aktor Terbaik (Oscar) dan Aktris Terbaik (Oscar).[2]
