The Japanese Wife (Jepang: ザ ・ジャッパニーズ ・ワイフ) adalah sebuah film India percintaan epistolari 2010 yang disutradarai oleh pembuat film Bengali Aparna Sen. Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Rahul Bose, Raima Sen dan Moushumi Chatterjee, dan aktris Jepang Chigusa Takaku dalam peran utama. Film tersebut berbahasa Inggris, Bengali dan Jepang.[2] Film tersebut aslinya dijadwalkan untuk dirilis pada Oktober 2008,[3] tetapi perilisannya ditunda sampai 9 April 2010.
Ceritanya mengisahkan tentang seorang guru sekolah desa Bengali muda (Rahul Bose) yang menikahi sahabat pena Jepang-nya (Chigusa Takaku)
