The Persuasions adalah sebuah grup a cappella yang mulai menyanyi bersama di Brooklyn, New York pada pertengahan 1960an. Grup tersebut terdiri dari anggota asli Jimmy Hayes (bass), Jayotis Washington (tenor, bariton). Cliff Dawson dan Raymond Sanders juga menjadi penyanyi jangka panjang dengan The Persuasions. Dave Revels (vokal utama, pengaransemen dan produser) menggantikan Jerry Lawson, yang hengkang pada 2003.
