The Providence Journal, atau ProJo, adalah sebuah surat kabar harian yang melayani wilayah metropolitan Providence, Rhode Island dan merupakan surat kabar terbesar di Rhode Island. Surat kabar ini pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 1829 dan merupakan surat kabar tertua yang masih tetap terbit hingga saat ini di Amerika Serikat. Pada tahun 1996, The Providence Journal dibeli oleh A.H. Belo Corporation. Surat kabar ini juga telah memenangkan empat Pulitzer Prize.
Pada tanggal 25 Juni 2010,[2] Journal meluncurkan Politifact Rhode Island, sebuah situs web yang menganalisis keakuratan klaim relevan atas Rhode Island yang dibuat oleh tokoh politik dan tokoh masyarakat lainnya. Situs ini diciptakan oleh Tampa Bay Times.
