The Silmarillion (Quenya: [silmaˈrilliɔn]) adalah koleksi kisah mitos karya penulis Inggris J. R. R. Tolkien, diedit dan dipublikasikan secara anumerta oleh putranya Christopher Tolkien pada tahun 1977 dengan bantuan penulis genre fantasi Guy Gavriel Kay.[T 1] The Silmarillion menceritakan tentang Eä, alam semesta fiktif yang mencakup Alam Berkah Valinor, daerah hebat Beleriand, dan pulau yang tenggelam Númenor, dan benua Middle-earth, latar karya Tolkien yang paling populer —The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
