Thomas Truxtun (atau Truxton) (17 Februari 1755 – 5 Mei 1822) adalah seorang perwira angkatan laut Amerika setelah Perang Revolusi, ketika ia menjabat sebagai seorang prajurit, yang naik ke pangkat komodor pada akhir abad ke-18 dan kemudian bertugas dalam Perang Kuasi dengan Prancis. Ia adalah salah satu dari enam komandan pertama yang ditunjuk untuk Angkatan Laut AS baru oleh Presiden Washington.
