Thynnichthys adalah genus ikan dalan keluarga Cyprinidae, yang ditemukan di Asia Selatan mulai dari India hingga Pulau Kalimantan. Saat ini hanya terdapat empat spesies ikan saja dalam genus ini, salah satunya adalah ikan Motan (Thynnichthys thynnoides).
