"To Be with You" adalah lagu balada beraliran soft rock [1] yang dirilis oleh band Mr. Big. Lagu ini dirilis sebagai singel kedua dari album keduanya bertitel Lean into It . "To Be with You" ini kemudian menjadi hit terbesar Mr.Big dengan mencapai posisi nomor satu di tangga lagu Billboard Hot 100 Amerika selama tiga minggu serta menduduki puncak tangga lagu di lebih dari 10 negara di dunia, termasuk diantaranya Australia, Kanada, Jerman, dan Selandia Baru.

Latar Belakang

Lagu ini pertama kali ditulis dan digubah oleh vokalis Mr. Big, Eric Martin pada masa remajanya. Gitaris Paul Gilbert berkontribusi menyusun melodinya kemudian.
