Tonggak
Tonggak, disebut juga pilar, kolom, saka, atau turus (terutama yang berbahan kayu), adalah istilah teknik arsitektur yang merujuk kepada elemen struktural yang meneruskan tekanan, yaitu berat struktur di bagian atas (misalnya atap) ke elemen struktur lain di bawahnya (landasan atau pondasi). Dengan kata lain, sebuah pilar adalah anggota kompresi. Istilah pilar biasanya diterapkan kepada struktur penopang berpenampang lingkaran (batang pilar) dengan kapital dan dasar atau pedestal.[1]
