Traditor

Traditor, jamak: traditores (Latin), adalah sebuah istilah yang artinya "orang(-orang) yang telah memberi" dan didefinisikan oleh Merriam-Webster sebagai "salah satu orang Kristen yang memberikan hukum naskah, catatan-catatan suci, atau nama-nama saudara mereka pada masa penganiayaan Romawi".[1] Istilah tersebut merujuk kepada uskup atau orang Kristen lainnya yang menyerahkan naskah-naskah suci atau menyerahkan sesama Kristen mereka kepada otoritas Romawi di bawah ancaman penganaiyaan. Pada masa Penganiayaan Diokletianus antara 303 dan 305 Masehi, beberapa pemimpin gereja telah menyerah kepada orotitas dan "menyerahkan"[2] teks-teks keagamaan suci kepada otoritas untuk dibakar.
