Trichuroidea
Trichuroidea atau cacing cambuk adalah Nematoda (cacing gilig) non-bursata (tanpa bursa kopulatriks) dengan morfologi khusus esofagus stichosome. Siklus hidup Trichuroidea terjadi secara langsung tanpa inang perantara (intermediate host) maupun melalui inang perantara. Ciri lainnya adalah tipe telur bersumbat dan pada spesies jantan ditemukan spikulum tunggal. Genus yang termasuk di dalamnya, antara lain, Trichuris, Trichosomoides, Anatrichosoma, Capillaria, Eucoleus.[1]
