Tupai sumatra [3] (Tupaia ferruginea) adalah sebuah spesies tupai pada famili Tupaiidae. Sebelumnya spesies ini digolongkan sebagai subspesies dari Tupaia glis selama seratus tahun,[4] tetapi dijadikan sebagai spesiesnya sendiri pada 2013. Tupai ini dapat ditemukan di pulau Sumatra dan Kepulauan Batu di Indonesia. Spesies ini menjadi spesies tipe genus Tupaia.[5]
