Thant (bahasa Burma: သန့်; MLCTS: san.; [θa̰ɰ̃]; 22 Januari 1909 – 25 November 1974), yang dikenal dengan sebutan kehormatan sebagai U Thant (/uː θɑːnt/), adalah seorang diplomat Burma dan Sekretaris Jenderal Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa yang ketiga dari tahun 1961 sampai 1971, orang non-Skandinavia dan juga orang Asia pertama yang menduduki jabatan tersebut. Ia memegang jabatan tersebut selama 10 tahun dan satu bulan.
