Ulrich Franzen
Ulrich Joseph Franzen (15 Januari 1921 – 6 Oktober 2012) adalah seorang arsitek Amerika kelahiran Jerman yang diikenal karena bangunan-bangunan "mirip benteng" buatannya dan gaya Brutalis.[1]
Franzen lahir di Düsseldorf, Jerman, putra dari pasangan Eric dan Lisbeth Hellersberg Franzen. Mereka beremigrasi ke Amerika Serikat pada 1936. Ia tinggal dengan ibunya dan adiknya saat orangtuanya bercerai.
Franzen meninggal pada 6 Oktober 2012, di Santa Fe, New Mexico, meninggalkan seorang istri Josephine.[1] Ia berusia 91 tahun.
