Universal City Zoo adalah tempat koleksi hewan pribadi di California Selatan yang menyediakan hewan-hewan untuk keperluan pembuatan film petualangan Universal Pictures pada era film bisu, pengambilan gambar sirkus, dan komedi hewan, serta "berfungsi sebagai tempat menarik"[1] bagi wisatawan yang mengunjungi Universal City. Hewan-hewan di tempat ini juga disewakan ke studio lain.[2] Kebun binatang ini ditutup pada tahun 1930, setelah kemunculan film suara. Transisi ini memperumit sistem yang ada dalam penggunaan hewan terlatih pada film.
