Van Allen Probes
Van Allen Probe (sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Radiasi Belt Badai Probe (RBSP)) adalah dua pesawat ruang angkasa robot yang digunakan untuk mempelajari sabuk radiasi Van Allen yang mengelilingi Bumi. NASA sedang melakukan misi Van Allen Probe sebagai bagian dari program Hidup Dengan Star. Van Allen Probe bermanfaat untuk memahami lingkungan sabuk radiasi dan variabilitas dengan memiliki aplikasi praktis yang penting di bidang operasi pesawat ruang angkasa, desain sistem pesawat ruang angkasa, serta perencanaan misi dan keselamatan astronot. Probe diluncurkan pada tanggal 30 Agustus 2012.
