Velmurugan adalah seorang penyanyi playback film Tamil India Selatan. Ia meraih ketenaran dengan lagu-lagu foklor seperti Madura dalam Subramaniapuram dan Aadungada dalam Naadodigal dan Otha Sollala dalam Aadukalam.[1] Ia disebut sebagai salah satu titik balik dalam kehidupannya oleh James Vasanthan.[2][3]
