Vilhelm Ludwig Peter Thomsen (25 Januari 1842 – 12 Mei 1927) adalah seorang linguis dan Turkologis asal Denmark. Ia sukses memecahkan inskripsi Orkhon yang ditemukan dalam ekspedisi Nikolai Yadrintsev pada 1889.[1]
