Vishnu Prabhakar (21 Juni 1912 – 11 April 2009) adalah seorang penulis Hindi. Ia membuat beberapa cerpen, novel, drama dan catatan perjalanan. Karya-karya Prabhakar memiliki unsur-unsur kepahlawanan, nasionalisme dan pesan-pesan yang meninggikan sosial.
Ia dianugerahi Penghargaan Sahitya Akademi pada 1993, Penghargaan Mahapandit Rahul Sankrityayan pada 1995 dan Padma Bhushan (penghargaan sipil tertinggi ketiga di India) oleh Pemerintah India pada 2004.[1]
