Wilhelm Wolff Beer (4 Januari 1797 – 27 Maret 1850) adalah seorang bankir dan astronom dari Berlin, Prusia.[1]
Ia terkenal karena hobinya dalam bidang astronomi. Beer membangun observatorium pribadi dengan refraktor 9,5 cm di Tiergarten, Berlin. Bersama dengan Johann Heinrich Mädler, ia membuat peta Bulan pertama (berjudul Mappa Selenographica) pada tahun 1834-1836, dan pada tahun 1837 menerbitkan deskripsi Bulan (Der Mond nach seinen kosmischen und individuellen Verhältnissen).
Pada tahun 1830, Beer dan Mädler membuat globa planet Mars pertama. Mereka membuat peta Mars dan menghitung periode rotasinya yang sebesar 24 jam 37 menit 22,7 detik pada tahun 1840 (hanya berbeda 0,1 detik dari periode rotasi yang diketahui sekarang).
