William Benjamin Carpenter MD CB FRS (29 Oktober 1813 – 19 November 1885)[1][2] merupakan seorang fisikawan, zoolog invertebrata dan fisiolog Inggris.

Kehidupan

Carpenter lahir pada 29 Okt 1813 di Exeter, sebagai putra sulung dari Dr Lant Carpenter dan istrinya, Anna Carpenter (née Penn).

Ia wafat pada 19 Nov 1885 di London

Ia dimakamkan di Pemakaman Highgate. [2]
