William Carl Placher (1948–2008) adalah seorang teolog pasca-liberal asal Amerika Serikat. Ia menjadi Follette Distinguished Professor in the Humanities di Wabash College sampai kematiannya pada 2008. Ia merupakan pemimpin di Gereja Presbiterian Wabash Avenue.[6][7]
