Wu Jingyu (Hanzi sederhana: 吴静钰; Hanzi tradisional: 吳靜鈺; Pinyin: Wú Jìngyù; lahir 1 Februari 1987) adalah seorang atlet Taekwondo wanita Tiongkok yang memenangkan medali emas di Olimpiade Musim Panas 2008 dan 2012 di kelas –49 kg. Ia juga memenangkan beberapa medali di kejuaraan dunia dan Kejuaraan Asia.[1][2]
Kehidupan awal
Wu Jingyu mulai berlatih taekwondo pada usia 13 tahun. Gerakan khasnya adalah tendangan kapak. Pada tahun 2012 ia menjadi mahasiswa di Universitas Teknologi Tianjin dan Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Suzhou. Hobinya adalah musik, film, dan menggambar ucapan di atas porselen. Kampung halamannya di Provinsi Jiangxi dikenal sebagai "ibu kota porselen Tiongkok", dan pamannya adalah pembuat porselen. Dia berperan sebagai seorang penggemar taekwondo muda yang bercita-cita menjadi juara dalam film Tiongkok tentang Taekwondo.[1]
