Xiu Xiu (/ˈʃuːʃuː/ SHOO-shoo)[1] adalah band rok eksperimental asal Amerika Serikat yang dibentuk pada tahun 2002 oleh penyanyi-penulis lagu Jamie Stewart di San Jose, California.[2][3] Saat ini, formasi band terdiri dari multi-instrumentalis Stewart (satu-satunya anggota tetap sejak awal), Angela Seo, dan pemain perkusi David Kendrick. Nama band ini diambil dari film Tiongkok Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl, yang menurut Stewart turut memengaruhi warna musik mereka.

Xiu Xiu merilis dua album pertama mereka, Knife Play (2002) dan A Promise (2003), melalui 5 Rue Christine dan mendapatkan sambutan positif dari kritikus. Di antara kedua rilisan tersebut, EP Chapel of the Chimes dirilis melalui Absolutely Kosher. Album kompilasi Fag Patrol dirilis tak lama setelahnya, diikuti album studio ketiga Fabulous Muscles pada 2004. La Forêt dirilis pada 2005 setelah Caralee McElroy bergabung dengan grup, dan The Air Force menyusul pada 2006. Album Women as Lovers.
