Yanaka, Tokyo


Yanaka (谷中, secara harfiah berarti "di tengah bukit") merupakan salah satu sektor di distrik Taito, Tokyo, Jepang, bertetanggaan dengan Nezu dan Sendagi di distrik Bunkyo dan berada di sebelah utara Ueno. Yanaka adalah salah satu dari sedikit area di Tokyo yang masih meninggalkan atmosfer kota tua Shitamachi.[1] Di Yanaka terdapat tanah pemakaman Yanaka Cemetery yang sangat luas sampai hampir menghabiskan area Yanaka 7-chome. Di sini juga terdapat sebuah museum jam, Daimyo Clock Museum dan jalan perbelanjaan di mana sekitar 70 toko tradisional milik pribadi berderet.[2]
