Yuko Shimizu (清水 侑子, Shimizu Yūko, lahir 1 November 1946) adalah perancang asal Jepang yang membuat Hello Kitty.
Ia lahir di Jepang, Usai lulus dari Universitas Kesenian Musashino, ia membuat Hello Kitty di Sanrio pada 1974. Ia hengkang dari Sanrio pada 1976 untuk menikah dan bekerja sebagai perancang lepas sejak itu. Ia tak mendapatkan pendapatan uang dari Hello Kitty.[1]
Karakter-karakter lain buatannya meliputi Angel Cat Sugar dan Rebecca Bonbon.[2]
