Zethu Matebeni (lahir 1 Mei 1978) adalah seorang sosiolog, aktivis, penulis, pembuat film dokumenter, dan Profesor Asosiasi di Universitas Western Cape. Ia sebelumnya termasuk peneliti senior di Institut Kemanusiaan di Afrika (HUMA) di UCT.[1] Dia telah menjadi profesor tamu Universitas Yale dan telah menerima sejumlah beasiswa penelitian termasuk dari Program Humaniora Afrika, Ford Foundation, Fogarty International Centre dan Yayasan Riset Nasional.[2]
