Zond 3
Zond 3, salah satu bagian dari program Zond milik Uni Soviet, adalah sebuah pesawat luar angkasa Zond pertama yang berhasil menyelesaikan misinya (mengelilingi Bulan) dan mengambil beberapa foto yang sangat menakjubkan ketika itu.
Bentuk dan desain Zond 3 hampir mirip dengan Zond 2. Namun, sebagai tambahannya, Zond 3 dilengkapi sebuah magnetometer, ultraviolet (0.25 hingga 0.35 mikrometer dan 0.19 hingga 0.27 mikrometer) dan spektograf infrared (3 hingga 4 mikrometer), sensor radiasi, sebuah radioteleskop, dan sebuah instrumen mikrometeorid dan mesin ion yang ketika itu baru diujicobakan.
