City in Khuzestan, Iran
Shadegan (Persian : شادگان )[a] is a city in the Central District of Shadegan County , Khuzestan province, Iran , serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 48,642 in 8,600 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 52,786 people in 12,088 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 41,733 people in 11,404 households.[2]
