I think we should consider breaking down these universities/colleges by category, similar to Template:Colleges and universities in Los Angeles County and Template:Colleges and universities in metropolitan Chicago. If there is agreement to this, the question is what categories should we go with? From what I see, we have the following entities in our list:
- Public universities
- Private universities/colleges
- Community college (JCTC), which has many campuses in the area
- Regional campuses/branches of public/private universities not based in our area
- For-profit branches
The template is also missing graduate schools within UofL and possibly other universities.
