From Monday 8 January 2024, Bundamba station is temporarily closed for an accessibility upgrade, which will include a new footbridge with lift access, upgraded security cameras, and full-length, high-level platforms. It is expected to reopen in late 2024. During the accessibility upgrade, services do not stop at the station.[2]
Services
Bundamba is served by trains operating to and from Ipswich and Rosewood, but due to the accessibility upgrade, the services temporarily do not stop at this station. Most city-bound services run to Caboolture and Nambour, with some morning peak trains terminating at Bowen Hills.[3] Some afternoon inbound services on weekdays run to Kippa-Ring.[3] Bundamba is seven minutes from Ipswich and 51 minutes on an all-stops train from Central.[3]
*Note: One weekday morning service (4:56am from Central) and selected afternoon peak services continue through to Rosewood. At all other times, a change of train is required at Ipswich.[3]
