Irulil Ravanan[1][2] is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by debutant AVS Sethupathi.[3] It is produced by Thusanth under Dunstan International Film Corporation (DIFC).[4][5] The film stars Thusanth[6] and Sreethu Krishnan.[7]
The film was officially announced in January 2023 under the tentative title DIFC Production No, 1, as it is Thusanth's[8] first film as a lead actor, and the official title of the film[1] was announced on 22 June 2023 by GV Prakash Kumar.[9] Principal photography commenced the same month in Chennai The film has music composed by Gavaskar Avinash,[8] cinematography handled by Kolanzikumar Kumar[8] and editing by A. L. Ramesh.
Irulil Ravanan is scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide in December 2024.

Production
Development
On 22 January 2023, Thusanth the header of Dunstan International Film Corporation (DIFC),[5] announced that they would fund debutant director AVS Sethupathi first movie. The project would be made under title DIFC Production No 1. Production was confirmed to begin later that year, and Gavaskar Avinashwas signed to score the music. Sreethu Krishnan[10][11] was cast that April as the female lead. The film's official title, Irulil Ravanan[1], was announced on 22 June 2023 by GV Prakash Kumar.[9]
Filming
Principal photography began on 5 February 2023. A grand set was erected in a film city in Chennai and Paramakudi and is said to be a three-month filming schedule in the set.
Music
The music and background scores are composed by Gavaskar Avinash.[8]
