I used Oklahoma Municipal Government guide to establish the difference between unincorporated communities and formerly populated areas that no longer exist as a settlement. I added some extra records to the "communities" section and transferred some records from the 'ghost town' section according to the Geographic Name Information Service "populated places(communities)" from the USGS. The search page can be accessed here as of today.
