ARA Azopardo
ARA „Azopardo” – nazwa noszona na przestrzeni dziejów przez kilka okrętów Armada de la República Argentina; pochodzi od argentyńskiego oficera marynarki Juana Bautisty Azopardo:
- ARA „Azopardo” – transportowiec z lat 80. XIX wieku, w służbie w latach 1885-1922[1]
- ARA „Azopardo” – holownik z lat 20. XX wieku, w służbie w latach 1922-1941[2]
- ARA „Azopardo” (P-35) – fregata (okręt patrolowy) typu Azopardo z lat 50. XX wieku, w służbie w latach 1955-1972[3]
Nazwa pochodząca od Juana Azopardo noszona była też przez jednostki argentyńskiej straży granicznej:
- PNA „Juan B. Azopardo” (GC-11) – fregata typu River z lat 40. XX wieku, ex-amerykański USS „Asheville” (PF-1), w służbie argentyńskiej w latach 1946-1973, początkowo jako ARA „Hercules” (P-31)[4]
- PNA „Azopardo” (GC-25) – okręt patrolowy typu Mantilla z lat 80. XX wieku, w służbie od 1983 roku[5]
