Aditya Sachin Samant (ur. 9 września 2006 w Pune[2][3]) – indyjski szachista, arcymistrz od 2023 roku.

Kariera szachowa

Grę w szachy rozpoczął w wieku 6 lat[4]. Trenował pod kierunkiem braci Gokhale, Abhijita Kuntego i Ołeksandra Gołoszczapowa[5].

Swoją pierwszą normę arcymistrzowską zdobył podczas turnieju Abu Dhabi Masters w sierpniu 2022, drugą na El Llobregat Open w grudniu tego samego roku, a trzecią podczas Festiwalu Szachowego w Biel/Bienne w lipcu 2023. W maju 2023 przekroczył próg 2500 punktów w rankingu, wymagany do zdobycia tytułu arcymistrza. Dzięki spełnieniu wszystkich norm stał się 83. arcymistrzem pochodzącym z Indii[4].

Tytuł mistrza FIDE zdobył w 2020, mistrza międzynarodowego w 2022, a arcymistrza w 2023[6].
