Życiorys

Dzieciństwo

Pascal urodziła się w Los Angeles, w stanie Kalifornia w żydowskiej rodzinie[3][4][5], jako córka Barbary i Anthony’ego H. Pascalów[2].

Uczęszczała do Crossroads School w Santa Monica[2][3].

Kariera

W latach 1986–1987 była wiceprezesem wytwórni filmowej 20th Century Fox[6].

W latach 2006–2015 pełniła funkcję przewodniczącej Motion Pictures w Sony Pictures Entertainment i współprzewodniczącej SPE[7][8]. Za jej kadencji doszło do włamania na serwery Sony Pictures w 2014 roku[9].

W 2015 roku założyła własną firmę produkcyjną – Pascal Pictures[10]. Zadebiutowała ona filmem Ghostbusters w 2016. W 2017 roku wyprodukowała Spider-Man: Homecoming, Gra o wszystko i Czwarta władza. Otrzymała dwie nominacje do Oscara w kategorii najlepszy film za Czwartą władzę i Małe kobietki[11][12].

Życie prywatne

W 1997 wyszła za mąż za Bernarda Weinrauba, dziennikarza i dramaturga[1]. Para mieszka w Brentwood, w Los Angeles, z synem Anthonym[13].
