Babesia equi (babeszja końska) – protist należący do królestwa Protista, rodziny babeszje. Wywołuje u koni chorobę pasożytniczą – babeszjozę koni. Babesia equi jest małym pierwotniakiem. Wielkości do 2 µm. Kształtu kulistego lub pierścieniowatego.
