Takson utworzył Pier Andrea Saccardo w 1884 r. Gatunkiem typowym jest Bisporella monilifera (Fuckel) Sacc. 1884[1] Synonimy nazwy naukowej: Bispora Fuckel, Calycella Quél.[2] Nazwa polska według A. Chmiel[3].

Gatunki Bisporella citrina i Bisporella claroflava zostały przeniesione do rodzaju Calycina, Bisporella pallescens do rodzaju Bispora. Nazwy naukowe na podstawie Index Fungorum[1]. Wykaz gatunków i nazwy polskie według M.A. Chmiel[3].
