Blade Runner 2099 – amerykański miniserial z gatunku fantastyki naukowej. Serial jest kontynuacją Blade Runner 2049 z 2017 roku. Premiera zaplanowana jest na 2026 rok[1].

Ridley Scott, reżyser oryginalnego filmu Łowca androidów z 1982 roku, ogłosił w listopadzie 2021 roku, że powstał pilot serialu Blade Runner, a także tzw. biblia serialu(inne języki) oraz wstępne plany na dziesięć odcinków[2]. W lutym 2022 roku ujawniono tytuł serialu – Blade Runner 2099 – który rozwijano dla Prime Video. Silka Luisa została scenarzystką i producentką wykonawczą serialu. Scott był rozważany jako reżyser na etapie prac rozwojowych[3].

We wrześniu 2022 roku Amazon zamówił serial, a Tom Spezialy dołączył do projektu jako producent wykonawczy odpowiedzialny za scenariusz[4]. W marcu 2023 roku Jeremy Podeswa został zatrudniony jako producent wykonawczy i reżyser odcinka pilotażowego[5]. W lutym 2024 roku opuścił jednak projekt z powodu konfliktu terminów, a jego miejsce zajął Jonathan Van Tulleken, który przejął reżyserię dwóch pierwszych odcinków[6]. Odcinki serialu wyreżyserowali także Ariel Kleiman, Marcela Said oraz Karena Evans[7].

W maju 2024 roku do obsady dołączyła Michelle Yeoh jako Olwen[8]. W czerwcu ogłoszono angaż Hunter Schafer jako jednej z głównych aktorów serialu[9]. W lipcu do obsady dołączyli Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim oraz Matthew Needham[10]. W sierpniu ogłoszono udział Toma Burke’a i Maurizia Lombardiego jako stałych członków obsady[11].
