Nagrania zostały zarejestrowane 23 i 24 września 1989 roku w Sunlight Studios w Sztokholmie we współpracy z Tomasem Skogsbergiem[4]. Pierwotnie But Life Goes On zostało wydane na kasecie przez sam zespół, ale ukazała się również wersja wydana przez CBR Records[4]. Materiał sprzedał się w nakładzie 900 egzemplarzy[2].
