Zasięg występowania
W większości rzek północnej części Ameryki Południowej (m.in.: Amazonce, Atracie, Madeirze, Magdalenie, Orinoku, Tocantinsie) na obszarach: Boliwii, Brazylii, Kolumbii, Ekwadoru, Peru i Wenezueli[2].
