Channa – rodzaj drapieżnych ryb okoniokształtnych z rodziny żmijogłowowatych (Channidae). Mniejsze gatunki są hodowane w akwariach.

Występowanie

Afryka, z wyjątkiem terenów pustynnych, południowa Azja od Afganistanu po Nową Gwineę (bez Australii) na wschodzie po Japonię, a na południe po Madagaskar.
