Chivunk, znany również jako VLEGA Chivunk (port.: Viatura Leve de Emprego Geral Aerotransportável, pl : uniwersalny, lekki pojazd transportowy) to brazylijski szybki pojazd szturmowy używany przez brazylijskie oddziały szybkiego reagowania[1][2][3].

Rozwój

Do 2011 roku program Chivunk poprzedzał wspólny program Argentyny i Brazylii pod nazwą VLEGA Gaucho[1][4][5].

Projekt

Chivunk wykorzystuje powierzchnię z płyt diamentowych i wbudowaną klatkę bezpieczeństwa dla wytrzymałości i trwałości w terenie. Ma wielofunkcyjne zastosowanie, takie jak transport, ewakuacja medyczna, rozpoznanie i może być zrzucany na spadochronie. Około 2-4 pojazdów może być transportowanych drogą powietrzną w samolocie C-130 Hercules i 4-7 pojazdów w samolocie Embraer C-390[2][6]. Pojazdy Chivunk można składować, układając jeden na drugim[5].
