Chlorolestes umbratus – gatunek ważki z rodziny Synlestidae[1]. Jest endemitem Południowej Afryki, spotykanym jedynie w Prowincji Przylądkowej Zachodniej i Prowincji Przylądkowej Wschodniej[2][3].
Imago lata od listopada do końca maja (sporadycznie do lipca)[4]. Długość ciała 43–44,5 mm[4]. Długość tylnego skrzydła 22–23,5 mm[4].
